Blake Burgess
Blake Burgess

Blake Burgess is so excited to be making his debut at Stage Door. Blake's favorite Atlanta credits include Spamalot (Sir Lancelot), Young Frankenstein (The Monster), Of Mice and Men (Lennie), and Big Fish (Karl the Giant). Blake has also enjoyed success in TV/Film appearing in Woodlawn, Ozark, Swamp Murders, and MacGyver. Blake studied Theatre at Auburn University while playing football for the Tigers. He would like to thank his friends and family for their love and support.

Kara Cantrell
Kara Cantrell

Kara Cantrell is an arts educator, actor, director, voice over artist, writer, and improviser who is currently serving as Assistant Professor PT at Kennesaw State University in the Department of Theatre & Performance Studies. She most recently appeared on the big screen in Logan Lucky and The Divergent Series - Allegiant, Pt. 1, in the Atlanta-produced web series, That's Educational, as well as numerous industrials. She has appeared on the Atlanta stage with several theatrical companies including Stage Door Players, Actor's Express, Theatre in the Square, and Synchronicity Theatre. She is the Producing Artistic Director and founder of Impulse Repertory Company. Kara has served as an instructor of theatre at Kennesaw State University, UGA, and Georgia Perimeter College, and as a teaching artist with The Center for Puppetry Arts, Marcus Jewish Community Center Drama Camps, and the Ferst Center for the Arts Drama Camps. She is a Certified Teacher with the National Michael Chekhov Association and is a teaching artist in the Alliance Theatre Education program.

Larry Davis

Larry Davis is very happy to be back at Stage Door Players, having previously appeared here in Unnecessary Farce (Woodie Award), The Cocktail Hour, Once Upon a Mattress and Spreading It Around. Other Atlanta theatres include Actor’s Express, The Process Theatre, Georgia Ensemble Theatre, The Shakespeare Tavern, The Essential Theatre, The Aurora Theatre, among others. Special thanks to R. Todd and the Madcap Villains.

Shelby Folks
Shelby Folks

Shelby Folks is ecstatic to be returning to her home away from home. She is a recent graduate of the '15-'16 Serenbe Playhouse Apprentice Company and holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. Recently, she was seen on stage in Annie, Get Your Gun and Kiss Me, Kate! at Stage Door Players. Other Atlanta credits include: The Secret Garden (Mary Lennox), Evita (Heavenly Friend/ensemble), Carousel (ensemble/Julie Jordan u/s), Snow Queen (Kaja/Ingerborg), Wisdom of Eve (Vera Franklin). She uses her talents to invest in a new generation of artists by teaching ballet, tap, acting, musical theatre, and improv. She sends her love to her dear ones and wants to thank them all for loving her unconditionally. 

Rachel Frawley
Rachel Frawley

Rachel Frawley is thrilled to return to Stage Door Players! Some favorite recent credits include Arugula in The Weird Sisters Theatre Project's Space Girl, Hermia, Helena, and Puck in Shitfaced Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream (running in perpetuity at The Village Theatre), and Charlotte Corday in The Revolutionists, (7 Stages). Rachel is also a co-producer for the Weird Sisters Theatre Project. Thanks to family, friends, Tess, and the wonderful folks of SDP!

Vicki Ellis Gray
Vicki Ellis Gray

Vicki Ellis Gray is excited to make her Stage Door Players debut in Picnic. Arriving in Atlanta in the fall of 1987 to join the Alliance's Acting Intern Program, Vicki has had the fortune of performing at many of the great theaters around the city: Georgia Ensemble, Horizon, Actors Express, Theater in the Square, Jewish Theater of the South, Theater Emory, Neighborhood Playhouse, and the Alliance. Gratitude to Tess and Robert, the cast and crew, and her three fabulous children!

Liane LeMaster
Liane LeMaster

Liane LeMaster is a graduate of Northwestern University and a founding member of Chicago’s award-winning Amicus Theater. Atlanta: Twelfth Night (Actor’s Express), Ruthless, Sylvia (Act3), Come Back to the Five and Dime, Heathers: The Musical (OnStage Atlanta), August: Osage County (Marietta Players), Good People (Out of Box). Directing credits include Dogfight, Urinetown, How I Learned to Drive (Act3), Unexpected Guest (OSA) and the upcoming First Date (OSA presented at 7 Stages in April). She is Associate Artistic Director at OnStage Atlanta, and teaches literature and creative writing at Georgia State-Perimeter. Her short fiction has been published in the Chattahoochee Review, the Mississippi Review, Arts & Letters, among others, and nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Shannon McCarren
Shannon McCarren

Shannon McCarren is delighted to be welcomed into her first role at Stage Door Players as the exquisite Madge Owens. Shannon's credits include Steel Magnolias (Theatre Raleigh), Grease, The Secret Garden, The Snow Queen, The Sleepy Hollow Experience, Evita, Carousel, A Streetcar Named Desire (Serenbe Playhouse). Shannon graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Theater, and was a member of the 2015-2016 Serenbe Playhouse Apprentice Company. She extends gratitude to Tess and the Stage Door Players family for the opportunity to tell this classic story. This one is especially for her lovely parents.

JD Myers
JD Myers

JD Myers is so excited to be making his debut with Stagedoor Players! He is a current member of the Theatre for Young Audiences Repertory Company at Georgia Ensemble Theatre and an alumnus of the 2016-17 Serenbe Playhouse Acting Apprenticeship. Favorite Atlanta credits include The Last Five Years (Marietta Theatre Company) Grease, Charlotte’s Web, (Serenbe Playhouse), The Giver, & Miss Nelson is Missing (Georgia Ensemble Theatre). Favorite tour and regional credits include Fiddler on the Roof, Newsies (Red Mountain Theatre Company), & Light in the Darkness (Student Life Tours). Suzanne Roush
Suzanne Roush

Suzanne Roush is very happy to be making her Stage Door debut with this classic play under the skillful direction of her dear friend Tess Kincaid. Seasoned theatregoers may have seen Suzanne in productions with Essential Theatre, Theatre in the Square, GA Shakespeare Festival, Horizon Theatre, Theatrical Outfit, ART Station, Alliance Theatre, and others. Jon Wierenga
Jon Wierenga

Jon Wierenga is delighted to be returning to Stage Door Players! Wierenga received his BFA in Acting from Michigan State University, completed his apprenticeship at Aurora Theatre, and now studies at Company Acting Studio as part of the Master Class. Jon's most recent theatrical performance was playing Ben Hecht in Moonlight & Magnolias at Gypsy Theatre Company. He also writes and performs for the weekly news-comedy show, Good Evening, Tonight! at Highwire Comedy. Many thanks to Robert, Tess, the cast and crew, and to the patrons for making it all possible.
